Kimberly's Story
Life
After high school, I went to London Baptist Bible College, graduating with my BRe with a counseling minor. I worked as a nanny (among other things) for a couple of years, and eventually wound up working at the Missionary Health Institute in North York. During that time, I was reintroduced to a guy I met at a friend's wedding, and we began to date; 4 months later, we were engaged, and we were married 10 months later (October '98).
I now live in New Hartford, NY, where my husband and I are foster parents. We currently have 4 k...Expand for more
ids in our home, all 4 and under (the youngest just turned 6 months old--we've had him since he was 2 weeks old), and we will be adopting 3 of them in the next year. We would love to adopt the baby, too, but it doesn't look like he is going to be available for adoption.
We also have 2 dogs, one is our own and the other is a "Freedom Guide Dog" (we are "puppy raisers" for this assocation).
Life can be chaotic at times, but God has been good to us! I do hope to move back to Canada, and my husband is very open to the possibility.
