Kimberly's Story

I left Poolesville on May 1,1980. I left behind my three best friends. Kim Deadrick, Linda Schultz, and Betina Ricketts. My father moved us to his hometown Wendell NC. We all keep in touch for the first year and then after that my life changed for ever. I got married on September 30,1983. I was still in High school. My mother and I just did not see eye to eye so I escaped to the world of marriage. I married a man name Don Johnson finished school and started a family. I had my first son Michael Shawn on March 4, 1985, my second son was born on October 25, 1986 Kevin Lynn my third son was born on our 5th anniversary September 30 , 1988 his name is James Brent we call him Brent and I had to try one more time for a girl and on December 21, 2002 I had my fourth and final son Dylan Lee. Here I am 25 years later still married to Don we built a house in the country with a pond on it and together we are still raising our boys. They are 23, 21, 19, and 5. I love my boys but will they ever leave home. I find it harder to deal with them as adults then as children. My 5 year old is a gift from god. He has the body of a 5 year old and the wisdom and mind of a grown man. I am very proud of all 4 of my boys. I wonder every day what life would have been like if my parents had not moved us to North Carolina. My older brother Jimmy has 3 kids and has been married 2 times. My sister Robin has been married for 18 years and never had children. My younger brother Neil has been married for about 4 years a...Expand for more
nd lives in Kansas City Kansas. He is the only one out of all 4 of the Fuller kids that moved out of North Carolina. My dad has been very sick for about 12 years now but on August 25 2007 my mom had a Brain tumor that know one knew about and she died . We had finally about 15 years ago started to see eye to eye a little better and we became very close. My world changed on August 25, 2007. Always cherish your parents because when there gone every thing you ever fought about or disagreed about will make the pain of losing them 10 times harder. I have pretty much been a stay at home mom and school mom for the past 23 years. I did do some medical billing for the largest hospital in Raleigh but thought it was more important to stay home with my boys. I guess that is why I am so close to all 3 of the older ones and we are all having a ball with Dylan my 5 year old. I really am looking forward to hearing from Kim Deadrick Scott. I have not stopped thinking about the three friends that I was so close to in 1980. I wish that we had never lost contact but more important I pray we can all talk again some day. I have always wondered if they still think about me and wonder what life turned out to be for me. My life has not been easy and I have had to fight many a battle because of getting married so young and having children before I actually found out who I am and who I wanted to be. Looking forward to hearing from my old friends. My space page is myspace/fullerjohnson. Kimberly Fuller Johnson
