It has been forever since I've even checked this site, but I just want to update and say, if you want to say 'hi' or chat, you can find me on Facebook. I check that all the time and have found it a much better forum for communicating. I have begun a new career this year....teaching 1st grade and life is busier than ever. I'd love to say hi and catch up so check on Facebook! My life in a nutshell....like so many others I'm sure, my life has had many ups and downs over the years. Most recently I've gotten a divorce, been in a car accident & broken my back, and after a brief stint as a dental asst. (that was NOT the career for me) I am working to get certified to teach in Texas. I've got two amazing boys, one a sophomore at the Univ. of Oklahoma. My oldest graduated from the Univ. of Oklahoma in Dec. with a degree in journalism, the youngest has a passion for theatre and acting. They're bot...Expand for more
h great kids that truly haven't given me a moment's grief, other than the usual 'growing up' stuff. We're now living in Texas for the past almost 11 yrs. with stops in New Hampshire, Pittsburgh, Rochester and Connecticut prior to that. We love it here but can't stand the heat! I'm experiencing a 'new lease on life' to a certain degree and am loving every minute of it. I'm incredibly blessed to be alive and healthy and I never lose sight of that fact. I still remain incredibly active (maybe those early cheerleading days are to blame....lol) and love to bike, workout, hike....basically anything that keeps me moving! I also have passions for decorating, knitting/sewing, gardening, movies and enjoying time with my kids and loved ones. I SO regret not going to our reunion a few years back and loved seeing all the pictures. It would be great to reconnect with anyone out there who cares to write!
