Kimberly's Story

Life My husband and I have been married for 12 years, and we have two children Ashley Nicole who is 15 and Matthew Calvin who is 5. Our family also includes our beagle Sadie who is two years old and a gecko who remains unnamed. My son is waiting for it to survive six months before he names it, you know less attachment to something without a name. My boys love to go fishing and spend time each week to hone their skills. They have had lots of time to spend together lately as I work to complete my Master's Degree in Health Administration. We also enjoy visiting my husbands family in Canada, we usually drive and take the opportunity to visit many beautiful places along the way, so far my favorite place is Flathead lake, in Montana. My husband has been trying to get me to move out of the beautiful state of Utah, perhaps when I have finished my degree I will agree to a move. to his family, but Ashley's situation kind of prevents us from moving too far away. School You could say that my schooling has been a series of starts and stops. I went to Utah State University after high school, where I sowed my wild oats. I was unaware of how burned out I really was after attending Weber State during my senior year of high school I returned to school a couple of years later, where I met my husband, we married and I decided to take a break while he finished school. It only took ten years, but I went back and finished my undergrad work, with a Bachelors degree in Business Management. Since then I have enrolled in the Masters of Health Administration program through the University of Phoenix, it is a pretty time intense program, only available on line. But I have had the opportunity to learn about healthcare across the country, which will help me make better decisions once I am running the facility.
