Kimberly's Story
Life
After many years of hard work I have reached a place in my life where the ones that mind ...dont matter and the ones that matter ...dont mind...
I started out working for Pizza Inn right out of high school, then progressed to Country Clubs and hotels. I attended Texas A&M,and graduated from University of Houston. In between all that I lived just about everywhere but my most favorite place was Oceanside CA.
I moved to Fort Worth with my sons in 1994,worked for Phillips Consumer Communications,Corning Cable Systems and am currently employed with Virbac Animal Health in Finance for 8 years now.I have a great job working for a fabulous company with some of the most talented people in the business.I have learned alot about life and people in the years since high school...I have found that true beauty comes from deep inside a person and is measured by deeds and words...if you have a beautiful heart you are a beautiful...
I have one husband, two biological sons,Wesley and Bryan, they are truely unique and gifted, one foster son Ethan who can be a bit jaded at times but overall is agreat kid,one granddaughter Markelle, who is the LOVE of my life and one foster daughter Gabryella whose smile is the purest form of love I have ever seen.

er listening to so many people and even myself say "I wish I could do something to make a difference",I decided to jump out of the comfort zone of paying homage to wanting to "do something" and just did it.Over the years we have provided a safe and loving home for several kids who have grown up and gone on to become successful people and my journey of making a difference continues. We are not compensated by any government state or local agency,we are compensated by a satisfaction that comes from knowing WE made a difference.
Its not easy to rearrange your life, so to speak, to accomodate other people but as a species I believe we have a responsibility if not an obligation to our fellow man and other creatures that inhabit our planet to do ALL we can to make their lives as well as our own and that of our planet a better, safer, more loving environment.
I have been developing a bucket list over the past years and I plan to learn to fly, sail, work for the Peace Corp, visit Tibet, and spend some time volunteering in a wildlife preserve.
Where ever your journey post high school has taken you I hope you have learned something along the way, taught someone something and in general I hope you have been a good steward of your fellow man and planet.
