Life
I finished 1 year of nursing school and would love to go back once my kids are in school full time. Right now, Sara, will be 6 years old in August, and Samuel, who just turned 4 years old---and our newest addition--Sophia (4 1/2 months old) take up much of our time. Sara was diagnosed with Autism when she was 20 months and is now going to a special pre-school and making good progress. Although much of her speech is still very echolaliac in nature, we couldn't be happier because she is talking and making her wants and needs known. od speech patterns---his issues are more with rigidity and comprehension of verbal cues. My husband is Department Head for Computer Science at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. He also teaches at Brandeis University and Fitchburg State. We live in the suburb of Fitchburg where we are no more than 15 minutes away from all of his Italian family. I started selling Creative Memories Scrapbooking materials last February--and I love it. I was recently asked to work as a Parent Advocate for kids with Autism and their families here in our public schools in Fitchburg. I wish all my fellow classmates a happy life.
