Kimberly's Story
I remember walking into Marina HS the first day. The "surfers" on one side and the "jocks" on the other side of the entrance to the "bowl". I thought this is stupid, I've got to get out of here. So I took a full schedule of classes for three years and summer school. I graduated in August of 1977, When I went in to pick up my senior packet, Barbara Ramsey had them type up my diploma. She said to come back for graduation ceremony but, in the mean time go start my life, I was 16 1/2. I did come back for graduation and no one seemed to notice I'd been gone for a year. Obviously the right decision to move on.
I just was never in to the whole High School Rah Rah thing. I've been a Commercial B2B Credit Manager for 42 years. I've worked for many types of companies, software, internet streaming, spa parts manufactures, worldwide steel manufacturer and women's clothing manufacturer. I've had a great time. I've traveled a bit and I've learned so much and worked with some really outstanding people.

I married in 1984. Here it is 36 years later and we live in Laguna Niguel and still have great fun together and are always finding new interests and projects to keep us busy and connected. Archery is the newest sport. We have one daughter who is 33 and is of course brilliant. We love Golden Retrievers. We now have our 5th in 27 years, who is in training to be a Therapy Dog. We also have an Irish Setter/Golden Retriever cross, 9. We have a Pacific Parrotlet 1.. Life is good.
Be a good person. Love completely. Be compassionate of others richer and less fortunate. Everyone has problems. Relax. Stay in the moment, or it will pass and you will have missed it. You can always make more money but, you cannot make more time. Time is precious, don't waste it on trivial crap. Think before you speak. Hug those you love. Don't forget to say thank you. Hold doors for people. Be polite. Be nice. Don't honk unless necessary. Give people a break. Guess what? You're not perfect either. BE NICE OR STAY HOME.
