I remember walking into Marina HS the first day. The "surfers" on one side and the "jocks" on the other side of the entrance to the "bowl". I thought this is stupid, I've got to get out of here. So I took a full schedule of classes for three years and summer school. I graduated in August of 1977, When I went in to pick up my senior packet, Barbara Ramsey had them type up my diploma. She said to come back for graduation ceremony but, in the mean time go start my life, I was 16 1/2. I did come back for graduation and no one seemed to notice I'd been gone for a year. Obviously the right decision to move on. I just was never in to the whole High School Rah Rah thing. I've been a Commercial B2B Credit Manager for 42 years. I've worked for many types of companies, software, internet streaming, spa parts manufactures, worldwide steel manufacturer and women's clothing manufacturer. I've had a great time. I've traveled a bit and I've learned so much and worked with some really outstanding people. ...Expand for more
