Kimberly's Story
Life
Moved to Sacramento in 1990 where I married Mike Smith in 1992. We both worked and Mike went to school and got his degree in Construction Management and hasn't stopped working since.
We moved to Las Vegas in 1998 so Mike could work on larger projects and we love it. I finally went back to school and got my degree in 2000. Shortly thereafter, we had a little boy Jeremy Michael Smith on 1-25-03, quit work (Bechtel as a project controls engineer) and now a full time mom. We decided to build our own home when Jeremy turned one and that was quite an adventure. By the time we finished we were moving in 2 weeks before our second son was born in May of 06.
I don't work at a regular job, I go to the gym and volunteer at a local hospital once a week. As well as taking...Expand for more

No one tells you how much harder it is to work as a mom than to go to a job everyday!! But I really, really, love it and am happier than ever.
MattJoe recently asked me if my life turned out like I thought it would. No way!! It is so much better than I could have imagined. Mike and I were married for 10+ years before kids and we got to do a lot of cool things. Now that we have a family it is surprising how fast the time goes. I think it's really important to make the most of the fun times we can have together. So, we take great little trips here and there and do a lot of fun stuff here in town.
It is really amazing this place called Vegas. So much is out there to do and participate in. It's really fun and crazy busy at the same time.
