Military
I joined the Navy in 1996 and my first duty station was on the USS Simon Lake in La Maddalena, Sardenia off the coast of Italy. I was there from 1996 to 1999. What a time that was!! The best people I have met so far in my naval career served with me on board that ship (and port services). Many fantastic memories and too many great people to even name, but you know who you are, and the times that we shared on that beautiful island. Thanks!! You are not forgotten!

eautiful villa on top of a mountain overlooking the Mediterranean Ocean with the island of Capri in the distance. But there was too much traffic, pollution, crime and animal neglect for my taste.
I then came to England (my home) in 2001 where I was stationed on Mildenhall Air Force base for three years. I enjoyed my time with my mother and relatives living only 10 miles away. I miss it desperately.
I left in January of 2005 and was told I had to come back to the states for sea duty. I am currently stationed on the mighty warship USS New Orleans (LPD-18) in beautiful San Diego. Ciao!
