Kimberly's Story
I am a stay-home mom with a part-time job. My kids are Addie, 5 1/2 (at the time of this writing) and Max, 3. I live in the woods, near Grantsburg, WI.
My part-time job is at Crex Meadows Wildlife Area - employed by the WI-DNR and work partly for them and partly for the Friends of Crex, a non-profit education group that supports wildlife and wildlife education. makes wildlife viewing easy and accessible to everyone.
My passion, besides my kids, is my work, which involves keeping the books for the Friends of Crex, handling the membership program, working with volunteers at our visitor center, leading wildlife and wildflower tours, managing our website, which is crexmeadows. org , writing educational materials, and setting up programs at Crex.
I recently finished a wildflower guide that includes 233 species of wildflowers found at Crex (There are many more, but that is a lot!).
