Kimberly's Story

After graduating from MV, I attended OCC for a year, worked at various jobs, got married (twice), had four kids, finally graduated from UCI (1990) with a degree in biology, and worked as a staff research associate at UCI before I finally landed my dream job as a high school teacher. After teaching biology and chemistry to students at Estancia High School in Costa Mesa for years, I was elected president of the teacher's union (AFT local 1794). l enjoy visiting him in his college town - Honolulu. My oldest son attends college in Houston TX where he lives with his wife and son. My daughter is a bartender in Manhattan Beach and attends Santa Monica College. My second oldest son is a general contractor in Costa Mesa, where I live. Though I failed at two marriages, I am still a happy-go-lucky person who enjoys family, friends, and my community. I may not be remembered by too many people at MV as I only attended my freshman and senior year at Mission. I lived in Hawaii in between those years.
