Kimberly's Story
Life
Well, it looks like I'm in Wyoming for another year. It's funny, but I think I'm more nervous about starting out this year than I was last year! Things are going pretty well for now. I'm trying to fit in all the little things that I didn't seem to have time for during my first year of teaching: dating (very little in a small family-oriented town), exploring all that Evanston has to offer (which isn't very much, thank goodness Park City is less than an hour away. There's also the Uintas nearby for hiking and that sort of thing), and trying to persuade my mom to at least have coffee with a guy other than my father (my parents divorced last September after 30+ ...Expand for more
years of marriage). Other than that, my life is fairly boring. Hope everyone is doing well. Take care.
College
Graduated from Idaho State University in December 2003 with my BA in secondary education. I'm currently taking classes from my district to receive my endorsement in ESL. I should be finished with them by June of 2007. It's been interesting so far, but I think I'll try to go to school full-time when I go after my Master's degree. Balancing teaching, extra-curricular activities, and everything else can be pretty stressful at times. Then to throw in my ESL class every week with all the homework our professor assigns us...yeah, sometimes it really sucks.
