Kimberly's Story
Seton was a wonderful experience for me. It gave me an opportunity to see the world from an entirely different cultural perspective. I was able to connect with Nikki H., Shelley B., Nicole W. and Big Sis. Garla G. while absorbing as much knowledge and spirituality as possible. During the four year period, I became aware of many social influences that inspired me to dream the impossible and attempt the insurmountable.
After graduation, I briefly attended the University of Maryland before embarking on a fashion career in NYC. I eventually moved to the west coast and married Lonnie W. Continuing to explore my interests in the arts, I graduated Otis College of Art & Design (in Los Angeles). Shortly thereafter, I began working for an upscale fashion couture house in Southern California.
In 2002 & 2003 I began to travel to Southeast Asia and Thailand to explore business possibilities....Expand for more
It was during my visits to Asia that I developed and produced my first independent runway show during Fashion Week. Afterwards I started a fashion clothing company, Kimberly Rochelle, which continues to evolve.
In my quest to reconnect with Seton, I have joined the Alumnae Association and am currently working to produce our 25th Class Reunion. Everyone in the Class of 1989 is invited to post information, images and connect using social media. A secure blogpost and networking page has been created to function as a platform for everyone to post and share their comments as we continue to implement plans for next year.
