Kimberly's Story
I got married 2 months after graduation and divorced 1 year later. I found out the HARD WAY that parents know what they are talking about when they say "don't do it".
I met my current husband in 1992. We have been happily married for the past 15 years. I have a son that is 14 years old and a step son 17 years old. I firmly believe that I am being paid back for how I treated my parents when I was a teenager. Since I was raised with 2 sisters, raising boys has been shocking at times.
I live in Sanford, NC and work at Coty (cosmetics/fragrance mfg company). We produce/distribute fragrance for Gwen Stephani, Jennifer Lopez, Sarah Jessica Parker, Calvi...Expand for more
n Klein, Vera Wang, etc. I work in the Customer Financial Services department as a Strategic Service Improvement Specialist. Basically, I am a problem solver. My team manages the high end department store accounts such as Macys, Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, etc. In fact, I just returned from an alliance meeting with Neiman Marcus in Longview, TX. I am currently planning the next alliance meeting with Macys (east coast division) in New York, NY for January 2009.
In addition to being a working mother, I attend college at night. Needless to say, I do not have many free hours each day. I am really lucky to have such a supporting/understanding husband.
