Kimm's Story
Life
After Redmond H.S., I attended Eastern Washington University where I met and married my husband Gary in 1976. We worked for various contractors at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation in the late 1970's and early 1980's before moving to Rifle, Colorado and then Champaign, Illinois to follow nuclear power construction. We returned to Kennewick in 1984; our daughter was born in 1985 and our son in 1988. I worked as a registrar for the Kennewick school district when the kids were young; finished my B.A. and later earned a Master's in School Counseling from Heritage College in 2000. I was employed as the lead high school counselor in a small community outside...Expand for more
of Tri-Cities for 17 years, before retiring. The best thing about retirement in Tri-Cities is the river; we love to jet-ski and boat, our latest toy being a 28' Rinker. Our daughter is a lawyer working for the assistant attorney general in Kennewick; our son is a Health Physics Tech at Pacific Northwest Labs in Richland. Our daughter and her husband have two girls, our precious granddaughters (ages 5 and 9). Looking forward to hearing from the old gang, I'm on hot mail.
