Kirk's Story
Life
After school, I signed up for the Military, seen different parts of the world and then had to settle down after a near fatal accident. I have since stopped chasing dump trucks and have started something a little more meaningful, instead of trucks, I'm chaseing after our fallen heros that never made it home.
School
My biggest crush in elementry and Jr high was Michelle Jewks (sp), the first time she told me she liked me was on a field trip to Mt. Mckinnley on the train. The last time I saw her was in 1990 just before I went off to GW1, and she went on to college. I gave her half my Dog Tags as a going away present.

I had the luck of the Irish with me the day I signed up and passed the ASVAB test. March 17th 1987. After Basic at Ft. Knox, KY and AIT at Ft. Dix NJ, I was assigned to a Transportation unit in Salem OR. After my 2 week tour in Korea in 1990 I transfered back to Alaska and became a scout in Fairbanks. In late 1990 I was activated to go to GW1 and was there for a short time. After returning from there I transfered to a Light Infantry Unit in Anchorage until 1994 where I volunteered for Egypt with the 82nd AB. In the summer of 95 I was deactivated and moved to Virginia where I am now a webmaster for our chapter of Rolling Thunder® Inc.
