After graduating from Georgetown with a BA in American Studies in '98, I worked in communications at a non-profit in DC for a year. I moved up to NYC and worked at Sotheby's International Realty, and then earned an MSc in real estate development and historic preservation from Columbia University's Architecture School. d worked on The Yards in DC, Lucky Strike apartments in Richmond, and military housing (officer's quarters) across the country. Now I work at the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation, a very small independent federal agency, and help the General Services Administration comply with the National Historic Preservation Act. I live with my husband and two elementary-age children in Arlington.
