Life
I'm still working for the Department of Human Services, Child Welfare in Gresham. The past 1 1/2 years has been pretty crazy. My niece, Kelsey was born on February 17, 2004. I took her home from the hospital on February 21st, took 8+ weeks off of work (It was my "maternity leave"), and was sweet little Kelsey's Foster Mom until she went home to my sister on July 14, 2004. Basically, my life revolves around Kelsey, and has, since the day she was born. She turned 18 months old on August 17. I am living in SE Portland (right off of Hawthorne) with my friend, Gretchen and her son, Jackson (he is 4 years old). I don't really date (too busy...I go out to my sister's house in Beaverton 2-4 times a week). Most of my time is spent hanging out with my nieces (Madison is 7, Kaliana is 5, and Kels is 18 months) drinking wine, reading, playing cribbage, riding my longboard, playing pool and shuffleboard (love it!), and walking down Hawthorne or up to Mt. Tabor.
Workplace
I work for the Dept. of Human Services, Child Welfare in Gresham. The job is pretty draining...but keeps me on my toes.
