Kit's Story
After high school, I worked for Bill Lemmon, then drove trucks at Roads & Roofing Dept at OU and at Hemisphere Sounds Tape Factory and at the Newbay Box Factory. Then joined the King Brother Circus and worked on the big top in '73. Returned to Oklahoma and worked for the OKC Zoo and then Central State Hospital. Moved to Stillwater and got a B.S. in biochem and then a DVM Degree. Then worked for USDA in Green Bay in meat inspect...Expand for more
ion, then went to Univ of Georgia and took classes in biochem and toxicology. Moved to the DC area and worked with residues and recalls and then with pesticide safety testing. Went whitewater kayaking every weekend year round in the 90s. Am retired now and for some weird reason enjoy taking graduate level classes for credit at local universities. Got married in Wisconsin and have two daughters - I feel that I am truly blessed.
