Shelagh's Story
I stopped using the name "Kitt" in college, where "Shelagh" graduated with an Education degree with a double major in English and Journalism from the UofA. Unfortunately I discovered much too late that I didn't like teaching, probably because I had students within two years of my own age. (That "authority figure" business seemed ridiculous.)
In 1975 I met "Mr. Right"--finally!--and we've been married (as of 2013) for 37 years, living in Tucson, Austin, Boston, and upstate New York.

Added April 2014: Sold a book!
November 2014: Sold another book.
2018: And the publisher went out of business. We havin' fun yet? At least I got my rights back.
Edit, June 2017: I'm sorry to share that my older brother Jay died last fall. Maev and I went to San Jose for his memorial service.
Edit, November 2019: Goodbye, New York, hello, Wisconsin and older daughter, who was telling the truth at age three when she insisted she wanted to live near her mommy. It's cold here! But hey, it was cold there, too. I'm good.
