Kitty's Story
My life... After high school I graduated from Washington State University (Go Cougs!) and headed up to Alaska. I lived up there for 8 years while going to graduate school in Fairbanks and doing oral history work. I then headed down to New Mexico to teach on the Navajo Indian Reservation. Eventually I made my way back to Washington and taught elementary school on Whidbey Island for 7 years. I got my masters degree at Western in Bellingham durin...Expand for more
g this time. Also, while in Oak Harbor I fell in love with a Navy pilot. We have been happily married for a few years now and have a son who is 1 years old. I am not teaching at the moment but instead I'm a stay at home mommy and Navy wife. At the moment we are stationed in Pensacola, Florida but we are set to rotate out of here in the Spring of 2009. We should be heading to Naval Station Everett next and I'm looking forward to moving home!
