Kitty's Story

I started working for Ford Motor as a sewing machine operator in 1974 making car seats. I have been retired from there for 6 years. Now I work part time at a Hallmark shop in Rochester. It is a fun little job. Just a couple days a week. I got married in 1990. I was only married 8 years when my husband passed away from a massive heart attack. I remarried in 2003. but I do have a stepdaughter, stepson and a stepgrandson. I live in Shelby Twp. The furthest from Rochester that I lived was in Algonac for a few years. I have lots of hobbies and have done a lot of travelling. Life has been good to me and I am enjoying it. If I was to look back and wish that I could change anything it would be that I would have had more confidence while I was growing up.
