Koby's Story
I went to Wayland Baptist University after graduation - graduated in 1996 with a BA in Mathematics and History.
Right after HS graduation I started dating Jenny Dunn - from Lubbock - and we were married in 1994. Too young, I know, but she was "the one" ...
We lived in Lubbock until we both graduated - she from Tech and I drove back and forth to Plainview. We moved to San Antonio and lived there for 4 years.
I taught mathematics and coached basketball at JohnF Kennedy HS for 3 years (96 - 99) and at Alamo Heights for 1 (99-00). It was a great place to live and the place our first child was born. We moved from there to Whitharral - my firs...Expand for more
t head coaching job - which is 10 miles north of Levelland. It was also a great place - I fell in love with small schools and we had a tremendous amount of success there. We left in the summer of '03 and moved to Garden City, a small town 30 miles east of Midland. It has been a wonderful place to live, work and raise our family. The kind of place that you can let your kids play freely in the neighborhood without worry - where your nieghbors know you and would do anything for you. Great place.
