Kris's Story
After high school went to Iowa State for 4 years. Graduated and moved home for 2 years.
Went to medical school at Midwestern University (Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine) for 4 years.
Met & married my husband, John, who's a Schaumburg fireman during that time.
Went on to residency in Family Practice in La. Grange, Illinois for 3 years.
Moved to Dixon, Illinois where I first practic...Expand for more
ed Family Medicine.
Had 3 kids since 1995. Daniel 19, Olivia 15, Grayce 13.
Got recruited to work in the Emergency Department.
Have been doing ER medicine exclusively for 14 out of 18 years in practice.
Golf to relax. Personal best handicap of 11.5 this year!
Still do regular things with 5 BGHS alum...Natalie Meerdo, Jill Howe, Jill Beranek, Dawn Hoelting &. Kay Grambo.
