Krista's Story
Life
After graduation I attended Indiana University Southeast and worked full time at Discount Labels. After many changes in my major, I finally graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Middle School Math. In 1998 I married my high school sweetheart, Chris Jenkins. After graduating from college, I taught 8th grade Algebra and Pre-Algebra for 5 months at Clarksville Middle School. I then hired into the New Albany Floyd County School system...Expand for more
and taught 5th grade for a year. During that year, I had my first child, Katelynn (named partly after her aunt, Karla Lynn), and decided teaching took up too much of my time. I went back to Discount Labels and am still there where I work with electronic artwork. I love my job! On February 7, 2004 I had my son, Garron. It's hard to imagine what I did before I had kids. They are mine and Chris' life. I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful kids. Life is great!
