Krista Beran:  

Ann's Hospital as a medical assistant and then also in a physician's office. I then worked as a registered nurse in Norfolk, Virginia on a cardiac stepdown floor. Then moved to San Diego and worked there on a cardiac stepdown floor until I graduated. We then moved to Port Hueneme, and I got a job as a nurse practitioner for Ventura Orthopedics and I also ran their bone density clinic. Since the birth of our son and our subsequent orders to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, I have become a stay-at-home mom and I love it. Military My husband's name is Matthew and he is in the Navy. He is a 1995 graduate of the United States Naval Academy. He then got his Master's in History from the University of Maryland. He then served on the USS Cole until October of 1998. He then transferred to the USS Typhoon until July 1999. He then attended University of San Diego Law School, graduating in 2002. He then became the Branch Head of the Trial Service Office West in Port Hueneme, California where we remained until May 2005. He takes over as the Base Staff Judge Advocate Guantanamo Bay, Cuba in July 2005 and we will be there for two years.
