Kristal's Story
upon graduating from Cal High, I went on to California Baptist College and graduated in 1980 with a degree in Behavioral Science. I went to work at the Federal Correctional Institute in Pleasanton until 1986. I always thought I would stay working for the Bureau of Prisons, until I met and married Dave and had gave birth to our beautiful daughter. We decided to move to Michigan when she was 7 weeks old in 1986. Even though Michigan is burrrrrrr cold, it is a wonderful place to raise a family. st year from Palm Beach Atlantic University with a degree in Graphic Design. She works at a guest dude ranch in northern Colorado, but came home for the winter months.
In 2000, I changed career choices and instead of going back to work in a prison, I decided to work with middle and high school students. I have worked at NorthPointe Christian School for 9 years in the Library Media Center. Working as a library
and office aide at Cal High paid off:) I went back to school for my Master's in Education in Library and Media Services and will graduate this summer.
