Kristan's Story
I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a back-up plan for an idea. As it turns out, they were supportive & not ENTIRELY correct, I LOVE TEACHING.
My favorite way to relax is to read & listen to music. I have to have a good book, a cup of tea, and my iPod. If I don't have 2-3 books pending then just look at my cuticles...chances are I'm about to blow (I'm a compulsive nail biter & cuticle puller, it's how I relieve stress). Weird, I know!
My hero & the person who inspires me is my mom. Did you know inspire literally means to "breathe life into?" So, my mom literally breathed life into me & coninues to do so by being such a fabulous person.
I have lived in TONS of places. We moved to GA, AZ, TX, Germany 2 times, and finally to CO. Most of our moves were due to military, but moving to CO was my dad's idea of an adventure.

My first crush was in El Paso, TX. Who knows what happened to him, I moved just before beginning middle school.
My oldest friend is my older sister. She is amazing & I can't hide anything from her. She knows me so well! We fought & played as kids so we click now because there's nothing we wouldn't do for one another.
A childhood memory I'll never forget is falling through the attic. Then keeping it a secret from the base housing contractors, my dad, and my family (minus my brother--he was in on it) for 3 years! When we finally spilled the beans & it was so funny our whole family ALL almost peed our pants!
I hope people always remember me with a smile. I love to laugh, so chances are that's how you'll remember me.
I've never really done anything "WILD" so chat with me & maybe you'll convince me to change that :0) !!
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have coffee, computer/internet access, and co-workers that I can stand to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
