Kristen's Story
As many of you know, I married my high school sweetheart, Troy Biggs. We've been married nearly 21 years (since Oct 1st, 1991). We have three children Lorren who is nearly 20, Jenna who is 18 and Austin who is 16 and a half and will be a Junior. Yes, in reply to your muted question, I am CRAZY!!
Troy, the kids and I did quite a bit of traveling for the first 10 years we were married while in the Army. In 2000 We left active duty Army and moved back to good ol' Murphysboro. Troy enlisted in the Army National Guard. He is the 1st for the Carbondale Armory when he is statside.Currently he is deployed to Afghanistan. He is stationed at FOB Lindsey in Kandahar. t 1st 2008. Troy has 19+ years service in the Active Army & Army National Guard combined. When he is not doing work for the National Guard, he works as a correctional officer at the Pinkneyville Prison.
After returning to Murphysboro I worked in the Murphysboro School district as an aide and then as the administrative assistant for the after school program from 2000-2004.
From 2004 until the very end of 2011 I worked for The Ozburn Insurance Agency in Murphysboro. Initially as a customer service rep and then as an agent.
In mid January of 2012 I began working for Diederich Insurance Agency in Carbondale.
