Kristi's Story
Life
Well- It's now 2008 and this past year has brought a lot of change. We moved AGAIN to Prescott AZ in a brand new house... We have adopted a new 150LB puppy named Buddy- and find that living in Prescott is much much slower than expected- but well worth slowing down for.
I just opened a business in Prescott AZ with my hubby called TNT Fitness and Body. Im still doing bookings for events and celebs- but that's getting a wee bit tiresome dealing with all the divas.. Hahaha.. It's amazing what you see when you're in the background...
I am still very close with my family Joanie, and Mama Fietta. Joanie is working with the U of I police Dept as a very highly regarded Seargent- and is very active in Child Self Defense Teaching which takes her all over the country. My mom has retired and is traveling around the world. She has beaten breast cancer and even had a major double knee replacement surgery. She is my hero.
My husband recently retired form The City of Chicago....He's a wee bit older than I- but we mesh perfectly due to his childish ways....Expand for more
... We laugh histerically every day together and I cannot see myself with anyone else. We've been married for 8 years now and it's like we're still newlyweds. We have done a lot of traveling to Greece and around the US. It's really our passion. We try to get back to Chicago to visit our family as much as possible- but it gets difficult to drag ourselves back to that bitter cold city when we could be lounging in the hot tub in December.
I still keep in contact with some of the old crew from HS, like Jill Moran, Lisa, Joanne, Blaine, Kal, Chris W. etc. They're all doing very well and still hold a huge place in my heart. It's difficult to get ahold of eachother now that we're all grown up and have such busy lives- but the friendships will last forever no matter what.
I think about my HS years often and consider those years some of the best in my life. Although we all went through some rough times in HS- they seem minor in comparison to what we all deal with as adults. I wish everybody the best and hope everyone's dreams are becoming realities.
