Kristi's Story
Life
I graduated from Williamsport Area Community College with a degree in Medical Secretarial/Assistant 1979. I have been married since June of 1981. I have two sons. I have had two heart infections and am unable to work. I enjoy being a fulltime mom and wife. I keep busy with my sons activities and church work. My husband is a Construction Carpenter. I worked in the Lab at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro from June 1979 until December 1987. I had to leave because of the heart infections. Currently I enjoy being a mom and am a "Certified candidate for Ministry in the United Methodist Church. My church is Niles Valley UMC. My oldest son graduated from Penn Tech a couple years ago. My husband also graduated from WACC. From college most people would remember me as one of the "Jacobson Sisters". Mary, Laurie and I all went to WACC together. I was secretary of Phi Beta Lambda.
The 30th Class Reunion for the 1977 CV Class was a lot of fun. It was great to see friends that I hadn't seen in 30 years. Thanks to those who came. Will post a class picture if I can figure out how.

School in the United Methodist Church on November 15, 2008. On January 1, 2009 I was appointed part time at Niles Valley UMC, near Wellsboro. I was appointed to Asaph UMC the first of July, where I preach and serve communion once a month. I currently attend Course of Study in Ohio at METHESCO. There are 20 courses in the program and I have completed two so far. I usually go two weekends in the spring and two in the fall with a bunch of homework in between. It has been a challenge to go back to school but God has led me so far. I got a B- in my first course and an A in my second.
My boys are 24 and almost 18 now. My youngest is a senior in high school. He is thinking of going into welding. My oldest returned to college on April 1st and will graduate next March with a degreee in Small Business Management, Collision and Repair and Upholstry. He plans to get married next July at our camp, Seven Acres. He has a degree in forestry but that took a real slump and there was no work so he went back to school and is doing very well. Steve currently works out of town a lot and is home on weekends. Makes things a bit challenging sometimes but it all works out. We have been married for 28 years.
