My life after high school has been good. I'm still trying to decide what I want to do (for a job) when I grow up. So far, I've tried the following: I was a waitress at Duke's Place. I was a reporter at the Yuba City Valley Herald. I was a police cadet at Marysville Police Department. I was a Deputy Sheriff at Yuba County Sheriff's Dept. I was a correctional officer at Folsom Prison. I worked as a paralegal at the Yuba Sutter Legal Center. I worked as a victim advocate at the Yuba County Victim-Witness Program helping victims of child abuse, domestic violence, elder abuse and victims of violent crime. I worked as a substitute teacher in the Marysville/Yuba City area and I am currently a 4th grade teacher at Grace Christian Academy.
