Kristie's Story
Life
I married Rev. Quinton Chad Foster on December 16, 2006 in Dallas, Texas. We moved to Washington, DC in February 2007 for me to take a position as Executive Director of The Links Foundation, Incorporated.
Since leaving Silsbee after graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University, I lived in the Dallas area from 1989 to 2007. I have remained gainfully employed and was VERY active in the Dallas civic and social communities. In addition to being active in my Church, I am also an active member of the Mid-Cities Texas Chapter of The Links, Incorporated and the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporate...Expand for more

Over the years, I have lost my Father and 3 of my 4 brothers, including my close and beloved brother, Anthony James Patton - 1982 grad (he passed suddenly in March 2004).
My Mother still resides in Silsbee along with my only remaining brother, William "WK" Patton.
College
In 1985, I left Silsbee to attend Stephen F. Austin State University. While there, I majored in Communications with an emphasis in Radio/Television.
I pledged Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. in 1987, and I graduated in December 1988 (in 3 years).
I developed many friendships, and I keep in touch with them on a regular basis.
