Kristin's Story
Life
My husband and I have been married for 20 years and have two great daughters - ages 18 and 14. The oldest graduates this year from high school and is off to college in the fall, while her sister will begin high school. We live in Virginia Beach, VA and have for most of our adult lives. He is a retired naval officer and his career took us overseas to the Philippines and to Italy for a few years, then back here again. My parents moved here about 5 years ago to be closer to us. ay last year, but my mother still remains active and returns to California each fall to see friends and family.
I completed a Bachelor's Degree in Family and Consumer Science from Iowa State University, then a Bachelors in Education from Old Dominion University, and finally a Masters in Reading and Gifted Education from the University of Virginia. I am currently teaching 4th grade in Virginia Beach and I love it. My husband is a contractor with the Army near here and life is pretty good for us!
