More about Kristin:"Kristin Maloney currently serves as the Executive Director of the Transylvanian Community Foundation. She has nine years of nonprofit management experience. Prior to accepting her current position, Kristin worked as a post-secondary public policy analyst for the Education Commission of the States. She graduated from Kalamazoo College with a B.A. in Political Science. She holds a J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy Law School. Kristin specializes in minority education public policy. Her work experience includes working on legislative issues for the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians, setting up tutoring programs in Australia for Aboriginal children, and serving as Outreach Director for a 21st Century Learning Grant for Detroit Public Schools. Kristin left law behind her when she moved to Colorado, realizing she could make a bigger impact on the world through her nonprofit work than in her previous job as a prosecutor.
When she is not striving to make the world a better place for the disenfranchised, she can be found hiking the beautiful Colorado mountains, kickboxing, or doing yoga.".
