Kristin's Story
Life
I'm married to my college sweetheart, Kevin, and have two daughters, Autumn Sarah who is 6 years old and Abigail Elizabeth who is 2 months old. I received my MEd from Springfield College in 1995 in Student Personnel Administration in Higher Education and I work as an Assistant Director of Residential Life at Binghamton University in New York. Kevin earned his MBA from Western New England College in 2003 and works as a Retirement Specia list for Nationwide Retirement Solutions. My daughter Autumn is a third grader at St. Joseph's School out here where we live and is involved in Cheerleading, Soccer and Dance. My littlest girl will be staring pre-school, dance and gymnastics in the fall.
College
I went to Assumption College right down the road in Worcester, but like most of my fellow WRHS alums, I lived on campus. My first two years I was pretty wild, but then became an RA and met my hubby and settled down...okay, A BIT! :) I majored in Biology and Spanish, but certainly should have ...Expand for more
kept to Spanish as Biology brought me down. I certainly enjoyed it, but just didn't have the collegiate drive to excel at it. Nor did I do anything with it...I'm now working in Student Affairs in higher ed! Clearly my experience as an RA had more impact on me than my coursework!
I graduated with my masters two years later from Springfield College in Springfield, MA with (and I don't lie, this is my degree)a Master of Education in Counseling and Psychological Services with a concentration in Student Personnel Administration in Higher Education
