It's April and June 25th is coming up quick. Only two months away The gathering is being held at The Petroleum Club. It's a great venue for the event and I hope you can make it. It is on the 12th floor of the Stockdale Tower and has a beautiful view of the city at night. The event is open to all so if anyone from another class or high school would like to attend please encourage them. We have set the price of the event at $60. To add a little incentive, the cost is $55 if paid by June 1st. Paying early will also get you an Authentic Original and Collectible WHS Reunion Tee Shirt in Viking Green and Gold. Some will be available for sale the night of the event, but there will be a very limited supply. We tried to keep the cost as low as possible. Price covers the logistics of a room, meal, photographer, DJ, park reservation, and other miscellaneous costs. Believe me the committee has worked very hard to keep all at the lowest possible. The event will include the Friday night main event as well as a potluck picnic on Saturday at Deer Peak Park in the Seven Oaks area of Bakersfield. The picnic is a place to bring the kids, grandkids (yes some of us have 'em now) and catch up in a more relaxed environment. We'll have some sodas available, but the rest is up to you.
