Kristin's Story

In 1987 I received a secondary English degree from Tabor College, Hillsboro, Kansas where I met my husband Eric. We lived in Kansas City while he attended medical school. We lived in Wichita for his training and I taught middle school English at Hamilton Middle School. In 1995 we settled in western Nebraska near the Wyoming border where he has a busy internal medicine practice with an emphasis on renal dialysis...Expand for more
. We have three children - Ben 15, Jon 14, and Anna 11. I have been a substitute teacher, librarian, and community volunteer. Currently I serve on the public library board and work with court advocacy in the foster care system. I like cooking, gardening, hiking, pilates, birdwatching, and travel. Recent travels have taken us to Panama, the birthplace of my husband, and Kenya to see more of this beautiful world.
