Kristina's Story

I think of Terry Sanford as my graduating high school because I attended right through November of 1968 - just months before graduation, Then my family moved to North Kingstown, RI, and I graduated from North Kingstown High School - that was the most difficult move of my life! And there have been many. After graduation I married and moved back to Fayetteville for about four years. I've lived a number of places, but among the most interesting to me are New York, Italy and the Chicago area where I worked in the Sears Tower for a number of years. ay in 1980 two days shy of his 8th birthday. Sadly, I know of at least four of my friends from high school who also lost children. Son Chris and his family, including two beautiful grand daughters now live in Denver. I've been married to Bill Giffin since 1992, and have two step daughters and five more grandchildren including two sets of twin boys, one fraternal and one identical. After retiring in Chicago, Bill and I moved to Aiken, SC where we lived for 15 years. In October of 2017, we moved to The Villages, FL. We never thought we wanted to live this far south, but we are loving the active life!
