Kristina's Story
Iâm living in the Washington, DC suburbs and still working in communications. Iâm an Educator-in-Residence at a national education association headquartered in Alexandria, VA, while on sabbatical from my usual position as a Marketing Teacher-Coordinator with Fairfax County Public Schools. After high school graduation, I went to Ohio U (Bachelors in Journalism), George Mason U (Masters in Communication) and Chapman U (California State Teaching Credentials). children, a dog, cat and husband (not necessarily in that order!). When my son goes off to college in 2 years Iâll have an empty nest and will consider moving back to California or abroad. Iâve been lucky to have traveled extensively, and I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and places. Although Iâm still outgoing, Iâm not a big Facebook fan for catching up. Iâd rather hear the âwhoâs-up-to-whatâ chatter in real time, in person, via phone, or email.
