Kristine's Story
I am leading a different life than I ever thought that I would. When I left high school, I thought I had my life figured out. I would marry my high school sweetheart, become a teacher and start a family. Boy was I wrong!
My high school sweetheart and I went our seperate ways after I graduated from college. I worked for the federal government in a preschool for a short time when I saw an ad in the Philadelphia Inquirer recruiting teachers for a school district in California. I told my mom I was just going for the interview experience, but I was hired on the spot and two months later I was living in Southern California with my college roommate. the next 10 years. I was getting more and more homesick so in 2006 I moved back to the East Coast to be closer to my family.
I spent the next year as a substitute teacher, tutor and Williams-Sonoma associate. Then I got my current job out in Chester County in Pennsylvania. I am currently a kindergarten teacher for a large school district in PA.
I met the man of my dreams this year too! I am currently planning a spring of 2009 wedding in Bucks County. I am also adding to my family by welcoming a beautiful 2 year old step daughter. We will happily be residing in Chester County soon. (We both currently have LONG commutes to work.)
I look forward to hearing from many of my old friends.
