wzup everyone...
i'm doing fine. still in the army. five more years to go and i can call it quits. i'm stationed at ft. rucker, alabama. been here for about 2yrs as a flight instructor. my students try and kill me on a daily basis. so it keeps me on my toes. but all is well. talk to you all later...

Military
well i joined the army during my senior yr. on the delayed entry program. after graduation i spent three months at home before i went to basic training. i did my basic training at ft. knox, kentucky. it sucked to say the least. maybe if i had went in the summer time it would have been better. anyways, after basic, i went to fort sam houston, tx for my AIT(schooling). stayed there a year to become an orthotics specialist(42c) and then got sent to ft. gordon, ga. for my first official duty assignement. did three years there and loved it. my next assignment was ft. hood tx. it was a different world going from a hospital setting to a field setting. i wasn't ready for that. i was too spoiled at fort gordon. but i got use to it really quick and did...Expand for more
my time there. it was close to home so that wasn't bad. after about 3yrs there i went overseas to germany. i was stationed in vilseck. it was a good assignment. i spent 2yrs overseas. during that time i got deployed to bosnia. it opened my eyes on how people live in a pure country. it made me appriciate my life alot better. they lived very poorly. you were either rich, or poor...wasn't no in-between. and 98% of the people there were poor. anyways i started a pack to become an aviator. got accepted and left germany and went to ft. rucker, alabama to start flight school. that was in 1998. i learned how to fly three different helicopter during my yr stay there. finished flight school which was exciting and challenging at times and got stationed at ft. hood again. this time it was better being an officer rather than an enlisted soldier. did 4yrs there. well actually 3 yrs there and one year in iraq. after returning from iraq, i was selected to become a flight instructor and teach the next group of aviators. so i'm now back at ft. rucker teaching flight school XXI....
