Kristy's Story
Life
God has blessed me so much in the years since high school. I married Brian just weeks after graduation. We were stationed at Barksdale AFB for almost 6 years, and while there we had three children, 2 boys and then 1 girl. We were then assigned to Anderson AFB in Guam so we packed up and moved half way around the world. We were there for 2 years and I have to say I enjoyed the island life. Our oldest son started kindergarten there, and I became involved in playgroups! We returned stateside after vacationing in Hawaii and we have now been stationed at Columbus AFB...Expand for more
in Mississippi for a little over two years. Our boys are now 8 and 7 and our little girl is 5, getting ready to start kindergarten. I started teaching 3 year olds at a local preschool last year and loved it!! I will be returning there in the fall. I have also completed my Associates degree, thank goodness!! My husband was deployed to Kuwait before the war began and he was away for 7 months. He has since returned back home and continues his military service. We have 1 dog named Rebel and we are involved in our church and in soccer and football practices with the kids.
