Kristy's Story
Life
In Oct. 1998, I met Rick Neel. We began dating in Nov. 1998. We were married on June 21, 2003. We went to Las Vegas, NV and Palm Springs, CA for our honeymoon. Rick proposed to me in San Francisco, California, on a mountain overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge.
We bought a house in Glens Falls in Oct. 2003.
On Sept. 20, 2004, we had our first child. A son named Connor.
On Sept. 26, 2006, we had our 2nd son, Brandon.
We bought a house and moved to Queenbury in 2006.
We are 49ers and Mets fans.
I am still best friends with Sarah Babson (now Sarah Gorthey). I still talk to Heather Manney (now Heather Fournier.)
College
I graduated from Adirondack Community College in 2000 with an Associate's Degree in Cri...Expand for more
minal Justice-Police Science. I also graduated from Empire State College in 2002, with a Bachelor's Degree in Community & Huma Services ith an emphasis in Criminal Justice. Professor Peter Girard at ACC inspired my career path.
Workplace
After high school, I worked as a waitress/banquet server, sales associate, receptionist, a parent aide (Washington Co. Dept. of Social Services), youth advocate (Warren & Washington Co. Dept. of Social Services), & a clinical caseworker (Northeast Parent Child Society for Warren Co. DSS). I then worked as a foster care and adoption caseworker for the Saratoga County Department of Social Services for almost 3 yrs. I then transferred to Warren Co. DSS where I've been for almost 3 yrs.
