Krystal's Story
You will truly be missed my most beloved one....life is just not the same without you.....that exciting edge that made every day different and new is no longer there...the days just blend together. I will miss you love and I will see you soon.....
I have truly lived a blessed life these past 15 years. The travel adventures I experienced with my husband Evel took me to nearly every state in the US. Together we have experienced the best of life and sometimes the worst of life but I truly feel that is what creates character in people and makes them stronger. I feel "old before my time" as a result of the many medical traumas I endured during our time together........staph infection, liver transplant, hip replacement and pelvis reconstruction, ankle reconstrution, back fusion and Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis....you name it and this man has been through it. that is what inspires me to be the best I can be. I went back to college after taking 13 years off and completed my Bachelors degree in Political Science and Criminology. And not because I needed to but because I felt inspired to finish a task I started in 1987 but never completed. Goals give life a definitive meaning. I think life has taught me that every person experiences some level of adversity and it is how they handle this adversity that ultimately establishes their unique character. No matter who you are and where you came from we do truly control the outcome. As Evel would tell you.....a positive mental attitude is a prerequisite for success. He did many things in his career that did not turn out as planned but the most important part of those experiences can be summed up best by the saying found on his business card: "You can fall many times in life but you are never a failure as long as you try and get up!"
