Krystal's Story
Life
Would rather hear about others than write about myself. So many changes in the last 30, 20 and even 10 years. I live in the State of Washington, both my married children reside in the NW. I have three beautiful grandchildren, one 11- Andy, one 4 yrs. old-Abbigail. My oldest daughter had her first child, an adorable little boy named Will who is now 3 yrs. old. Work life takes up too much of my time, I am a Manager of IT Desktop Services for the County of Multnomah (which is Portland, OR, just across the border). I am not crazy about the NW and will probably retire somewhere much warmer and a lot less wet. Portland is a whole other world, my boss drives a Harley and comes in with his leathers on and his boss is a she with an alternate lifestyle. They are both wonderful, colorful people, and never boring. I have made a few great friends up here, most of my family lives up here, but my late husbands fa...Expand for more
mily still lives in the bay area where I go whenever I can. I have 3 nephews and 2 nieces living in Calif. as well. My best friend still lives in California in Carmel and the other in San Jose, so I do get home at least twice a year. Before moving here, I lived and raised my family in Pleasanton, CA (wish I kept the house, heard it just sold for an extraordinary amount of money), I could retire early. The girls and I moved up here after Andy passed away. For those of you who knew them, they are both well, college graduated, finally, and raising families of their own and building careers, I am just a little proud of them.
Thats about it! A trip is in the planning for November, I will be cooking Thanksgiving dinner for the kids grandfather in Escalon, CA. Oh and yes, for those interested from his class and before you email me and ask, my brother (Class of 65) lives up here also and can be found on Facebook.
