Kyle's Story
Life
I am an athletic, outdoorsy woman at home in the mountains. I have competed in over 100 triathlons from sprints to Ironman distances. I have spent several years adventure racing in Colorado too, running marathons and doing ultra mountain bike races. I work with horses, breaking and training, and have a summer trail ride operation in the Pike National forest. I am also the Executive Director of the Cripple Creek Casino Association, I am the Director of Economic Development for the City of Cripple Creek, I teach one business class at the local high school and I do web development on the side. I got my bachelors degree in Economics at UC Davis. I am well traveled and pretty darned down to earth.
I am easy going, open minded, optimistic and honest. I love horses, mountain biking, Labrador retrievers (I have a yellow and a black), kayaking, climbing, telemark skiing and fly-fis...Expand for more
hing. I am as at home in Wranglers as I am in black velvet. I work hard to stay trim and fit and hit the gym at least four days a week.
I am on the "natural side" and take good care of my body and soul. I will be the first to give a hand up and donÂt believe in hand-outs. I am devoted to my family and work hard for my community.
I call the Rockies my home and live about one hour west of Colorado SpringsÂ
at nearly 9000 feet! Altitude is great for training! I live in a log house on 12 acres with my two dogs, four of my horses and a wayward rooster that just showed up one day (his name is Gringo) - I don't have any kids other than my critters. My property borders the National Forest and I have a great view of Pikes Peak. When the term ÂGodÂs Country was coined this is the place I was talking about!
Well thatÂs about it. Life is good even when it isnÂt going my way!
