Life
I've had a great life, so far! After attending Maryville College and University of Tennessee, I lived in Texas for awhile and then moved after marrying, to Tennessee. My husband joined the Marine Corps (surprise!) and we moved to Virginia for some training, and then to California, where he was stationed. Our 2 sons were born at Camp Pendleton. We then moved to Morristown, Tennessee, where I worked as a sign language interpreter for a high school student. 8 years later, we moved to Alabama, where I interpreted for a kindergarten student. We were only in Winfield, AL for 8 months before we moved to Statesville, NC. Our boys are now 27 and 29 - the youngest is working in Statesville and my oldest has graduated from UNC Asheville and is now working in Raleigh, NC. I'm a veterinary nurse and spe...Expand for more
nd my days wrestling animals and wondering how much longer my body can take this line of work! I love it, though, and can't think of anything I would rather do. I'm also a freelance nature photographer, and have done some work for a NC magazine named Our State. I assist with my friends' businesses, Vinny Colucci Photography and Melissa Southern Photography, taking photographs of the participants and occasionally shooting my own images. Just got remarried on May 31st to a guy I've known a long time. Staying in NC - I love it here. I live outside of Albemarle, NC with a total of 1 dog and 27 cats....Between Roger and me, we have 5 boys. Well, by now, I guess they're men! It's definitely exciting! I've kept in touch with some of my best friends from USC and hope we have another reunion sometime soon!
