Kyle's Story
Life
After high school I went to school to the University of Wyoming. That lasted a year. I then spent some time in Greeley, then at CU. I then moved to NY and was an au pair with a wonderful family. I really had fun and learned how hard having a baby could be!! I came back to Colorado and lived and worked in Beaver Creek (I was a ski instructor). I then came down to Denver and worked in restaurants. I moved to Arizona to open a restaurant and met my future husband, Ted, who was a chef. He followed a job to California and I followed him. We then came back to Colorado, got married, and I finished college (finally!!) with a degree in English literature. Somehow (divine int...Expand for more
ervention, I think), I fell into a great job teaching at a K-8 charter school in Littleton (Littleton Preparatory Charter School). I teach a variety of subjects in the morning, and in the afternoon I see all the kids from k-6 for a suplemental math program (I know, me, math?). My first year (2002) I got pregnant the first week of school and had the light of my life 2 weeks after school was out (June 7, 2003. Her name is Elizabeth Anne (Libby)and she is beautiful and smart and fun and, I hear from others, an easy baby. We also have a wonderful dog, a Boxer named Barlow. My husband, Ted, stays home with Libby all day and I take her at night. We are blessed with a wonderful life.
