Lainie 's Story
Life
I am pretty settled in life. A disability has kept me back for a good amount of years but I now have a Service Dog (Ty) and he truely is my best friend. He's smaller then your average Service Dog (a Cairn Terrier) but he has a big heart.
He makes me realize I had alot more to give in life and I'm the one who lost out. All you can do is "Keep on Truckin". Yes, I was a dead head for many many years. In 1969 I was 16 and in my prime for music. We went from am to fm, bubblegum and American Bandstand, to the Beatles on Ed Sullivan, to the Doors, Janis and Jimi Hendricks, to Dylan and so on an so on and so on. That is what made me glad I was born in 1952.

equal rights for blacks and women of any color. I remember when I couldn't go to college unless I wanted to be a teacher. I couldn't be an airline stewardess because I was 2" too short. I can't imagine what my life would be like if I had had more choices in life. I know I still would have gone into the scientific workstream since it took me a very long time to feel any type of faith.
My crash was when "corporations" started taking over "companies". The work enviornment change so drastically in the ethics department that I had a breakdown and isolated myself for way too many years.
I have very few regrets in my life and I'm very proud of that. I know I am a good person. That is never a question! I feel my life is complete.
